Allan Moon (born January 6, 1976) is a Canadian / Israeli Artist, Poet, Singer-Songwriter and Producer. Moon was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up in New York City. In 1992, Moon emigrated to Israel and settled in Tel Aviv at the age 17. He currently lives in the Galilee region of Israel. Upon arriving in Tel Aviv, Moon broke into the English language poetry scene, organizing and participating in readings and underground performances reminiscent of the Beat Generation poets. His poetic style was very raw, druggy, containing many sexual innuendos, often compared to William S. Burroughs.
